The last of your Ah Beng jokes reminds me of a story
told to me by an old boy who was adamant that it
actually took place and was reflective of the quality
of teachers our beloved College is getting nowadays
(no offence intended to any of us in the secondary
school teaching profession). I may have told this
joke/story to some of our fellow serpents already.
Anyhow,

A young teacher newly posted to MC and who has never
been to KK was trying to keep to his introductory
appointment with the College HM. He found himself at
Clifford School and asked for the way to MC. They told
him to go across the road where he of course found
himself at Prep School. He asked to see the HM whereby
the first formers told him that he is at Prep School
and that the HM's office is just next to Hargreaves
Hall. After getting directions, he managed to meet up
with the HM. Towards the end of the meeting, the HM
asked him if he had any question. Yes, the young
teacher said.

"HM, Clifford School tu saya tau, dinamakan mengikut
residen British Hugh Clifford, Hargreaves Hall pulak
sempena bekas guru besar pertama MCKK, William
Hargreaves tapi,HM, Mr Prep tu siapa dia?".
